MEET SUSAN
A storyteller at heart, Susan is all about people. She photographed her first wedding at the age of 16, became a photojournalist at 19, and has been hooked ever since to telling stories through the lens.
Her camera is the passport that has taken her curiosity on countless (and often humbling) adventures – swept up in political rallies in Egypt, hiking to Everest Base Camp, sleeping in a boat at Pearl Harbour while connecting with the homeless community in Hawaii, witnessing the very first breaths of a newborn, jumping into helicopters and planes to get the shot, and being trusted to document the final moments of someone’s life. She’s travelled over 40 countries and had the joy of working alongside all kinds of incredible humans. What she loves most is connecting with people, hearing their stories, and turning them into powerful images.
Having covered many roles over the years (photojournalist, creative art director, project manager, marketing visionary, producer, event coordinator, educator and more) you can be sure every base is covered!
